My name is Goodry Gubbels and I am a Dutchman living in Paris (or very near to it anyway) and am working as a Technology Director or CTO in the services sector.
I used to play the trumpet a lot with several bands & orchestras back home, but as things go: I’ve got very little time to spare to indulge in the pleasure of playing music with my friends for the moment.
After my studies in Delft and Amsterdam, I started working in the emerging Internet business. I soon left Amsterdam, to establish a presence and call center for our expanding company in Brussels, Belgium. Having achieved all the goals I set out to do, I went to Paris to further develop the ICT services of a multinational group in the services sector.
After travelling and working throughout Europe for 5 years, I moved to another big challenge: creating a self-service platform where not only the end-users can find service without any human intervention but where our clients can manage and operate their own applications. From there, I moved into more organisational roles including Operational Management and PMO within technical and ICT environments.
